The Beatles: Rock Band was released on September 9, 2009 to rave reviews - it was the first official Beatles video game and one that let players "be" the Beatles. Different configurations of the game included a guitar controller, microphone, and drum pads to play. The game was released for Sony PlayStation 3, XBox 360, and Nintendo Wii. A limited edition release included a replica Rickenbacker guitar and replica Beatles bass drum.
