The Beatles: Beatles VI

Beatles VI

June 14, 1965   Capitol Records

Beatles VI was actually their seventh Capitol release (including the interview album The Beatles Story) and their eighth official America release (including Vee Jay's Introducing The Beatles). The remaining 6 songs from Beatles For Sale not included on Beatles '65 were issued on this US-only album, as well as actual new material that hadn't even been released in England at the time - "Bad Boy" and "Yes It Is" (the latter in "rechanneled stereo" - it was also the B-side of their upcoming UK single "Help!"), as well as three tracks later released on the Help! soundtrack: "Tell Me What You See", "Dizzy Miss Lizzy", and "You Like Me Too Much". The cover photo was later used on an Australian greatest hits package. The album was rereleased on CD in 2006 as part of the four disc set The Capitol Albums, Vol. 2 in both stereo and mono on one disc.
